Christian Bakkerud - 1984-2011

It is with deep sorrow we at 24h-le-mans.dk have received the sad news about the death of Christian Bakkerud who was killed in a tragic car accident in England the 10th of September 2011.

Even though Christian Bakkerud retired from racing in 2010, we still remember him as the great talent he was behind a wheel. He reached one of his goals when competing at Le Mans in 2009 and 2010, and finished 9th overall as his best result.
